The Elder Scrolls, Dishonored, Doom, Fallout, and Quake Toys Coming

The toymakers at Symbiote Studios have something cool cooking: Vinyl toys based on Bethesda games The Elder Scrolls, Dishonored, Doom, Fallout, and Quake. These stylized action-figures will look amazing on your cubicle divider, I think you will agree.

The first figure can be seen in the photo above, and will be given to QuakeCon 2012 attendees that ordered the QuakeCon “Swag Pack." Not a bad deal at all.

The next figure, the Dragonborn from The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, will retail for $9.99 and will be available in August 2012.You can pre-order it at Quakecon or on Symbiote's site. I embedded some art of the adorable, little dovahkiin under the "Read More" tag.

Lego Portal Set Needs Your Help To Exist

The fans have spoken: a pitch for a Portal 2-themed LEGO set passed muster with the LEGO community, earning the 10,000 votes that it needs on CuuSoo to be sent along to a LEGO committee for review and possible release. CuuSoo is LEGO's Kickstarter-like crowd-sourcing portal (see what I did there?), a place where fans can go to vote on cool new ideas for LEGO sets.

This is a pretty quick voter turnaround for the Portal 2 set, which we first heard about in late June 2012. A release still isn't guaranteed until the LEGO committee approves it, but it's an important step. CuuSoo is worth a look too if you've never been there. Head over and vote for cool LEGO releases, like this wicked cool Jawa sandcrawler from Star Wars or this The Legend of Zelda-themed concept.

Lego Portal Set Needs Your Help To Exist

The above Lego set is, obviously, based on Portal. It is the greatest thing on earth...but there's one problem. It doesn't actually exist. Here's where you come in, reader. The Portal Lego set is featured on CuuSoo.com, which is a sort of Kickstarter for awesome Lego sets, but it needs support.

So here's what I (and Leah) want you to do: Go to its CuuSoo page, check out the pictures of potential Portal sets, and add your support. Spread it around on your Twitter feed and to your Faceook friends. If there's enough interest (like 10,000 supporters) it will get manufactured, and you'll be able to build it.

I really want this Lego set, and I really want you to do the right thing here, people.

Portal 2 Sentry Turret Statue Coming From Gaming Heads Later This Year

Gaming Heads, crafters of high-end gaming merchandise, are coming out with this very limited edition Portal 2 sentry turret statue. The amazing little turret measures approximately 16 inches tall and it's got a motion sensor in front, so when you wave your hand in front of it it'll play sounds from the game.

The piece is pretty expensive though, and will set you back $324.99 when it's released later this year. But seriously, if you're a die-hard Portal 2 fan, this might be one statue that you need in your collection. For more info on the statue, head over to the Gaming Heads website.
