Transformers producer Michael Bay is working with Universal to develop a film around Hasbro's supernatural game Ouija Board.

Platinum Dunes' Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller will produce Ouija along with Hasbro, who have a six-year strategic partnership with Universal. David Berenbaum, who penned Elf and worked on The Spiderwick Chronicles, Zoom, and The Haunted Mansion, is set to script the sucker.

As if three variations of the Notorious B.I.G. action figure weren’t enough, Mezco Toyz is releasing a fourth-edition Biggie doll next month …and this one is “Juicy!”

No seriously, that’s the name of this edition of the toy…the "Juicy" model. Named after the music video for the song of the same name, where Biggie wears a yellow basketball jersey, gold chain, sunglasses and sports a towel.

Mezco will debut the limited-edition 9-inch figure at the New York Comic Con April 18-20.

That’s all fine and dandy, but where the goddamn ODB doll, people! Now, that’s what I wanna see. I mean, Wu Tang was “for the children,” after all…

Universal announced today that it has acquired the film rights to a number of Hasbro toy lines, including Monopoly, Magic: The Gathering, Oujia, Stretch Armstrong, Battleship and Candyland.

Seriously. This is not just a parody post to highlight the creative bankruptcy of big Hollywood films. It's really true. Ridely Scott (director of Alien, American Gangster and Blade Runner) is hard at work on the big screen adaptation of Monopoly.

We really didn't make that up.

A grade school child in Redwood City California was robbed at fake-gunpoint by a classmate. The booty: Pokemon cards.

Redwood City police said the fourth grader brought an Airsoft gun to  School and held it to a 6-year-old's forehead, demanding that the younger child give up the trading cards, and break himself.

Squirtle was unharmed in the incident.

Thanks to some sleuthing by action-figure.com, we now know that Hasbro has plants to release a new series of Star Wars action figures to go along with the premier of the Clone Wars animated series in September. Also the sky is blue. And your parents had sex at least once.

That's really all the information they could squeeze out, since we all know Lucasfilm likes to keep everything they do under high security protection. While this is just a rumor, it's fairly obvious that this is a no-brainer. Hasbro handeled the last series of Star Wars figures with the Special Edition releases back in the late 90s, so even if it wasn't coming from them, you know we'd be getting those brightly colored pieces of plastic from somewhere.

So clear some space on your book shelves and you cubical walls, you will soon have even more useless pieces of plastic that warn members of the opposite sex not to talk to you.

Wham-O Founder Dead

Richard Knerr, founder of Wham-O and thus popularizer of the Hula Hoop, the Frisbee, the Superball, the Slip-n-Slide, Silly String* and countless other childhood memories, died yesterday at the age of 82.

Without Knerr, the pop culture landscape would be vastly different. The Hudsucker Proxy would have been a very different movie. No one would ever play Ultimate Frisbee. There would have been no Hula Hoop craze of the 1950. Guys with dogs named "Bandit" would have to throw something else to their pets. Etc.

LA Times: Richard Knerr, 82; co-founded Wham-O, maker of the Hula Hoop and Frisbee

*For the truly videogame obsessed, Knerr invented "toys." IE: Physical objects that are thrown, bounced, jumped on and otherwise manipulated IRL to produce "fun." Like the Wii, but different.

The level design on toys is terrible, and they're super-repetitive, but the graphics and physics engines are the most realistic yo can get, and the framerates are not to be believed. Plus, they're open-world.

The Guitar Hero Air Guitar Rocker is a Guitar Hero-branded toy that debuted at CES.

According to the company that makes the thing, it "features patented technology which includes guitar pics and a rockin' belt buckle."

Because we could not understand how it works from the company's description, we searched for a youtube video. It's from gearlog.com.

So, what do you think? Cool or lame? Worth $29.99?

For those of you who actually purchased a PSP in the last year or so, you've probably felt a slight sting thinking about how much you paid for the thing and how little you play it. Well, that nothing compared to the sting some are feeling when they reach for the "Shock-Your-Friend PSP Console".

At first glance, this little doozy look like just another PSP knock-off. But, oh, it is so much more than that. Well not really so much more. It doesn't play games. It doesn't really play anything... aside from cruel practical jokes. You see, this thing is really an electric buzzer.

Allison: Hey Timmy, what did you get for Christmas?

Timmy: I got a toy train! What did you get?

Allison: I got porn!

Timmy: Yipee!

Yes folks, it’s true.

The family of a 10-year-old Cookeville, Tennessee girl who received an MP3 video player for Christmas was flabbergasted when it found the player was loaded with explicit songs and pornographic movie clips.

And in flabbergasted Cookeville they don’t even know what “flabbergasted” means!

Dubai, known for it's extravagant real estate properties and oil money, has officially made themselves the coolest Emirate of all seven of the United Arab Emirates by deciding to build a real life Jurassic Park.

The Park, named "Restless Planet" will have Dinosaur animatronics designed by Tokyo-based (natch!) team Kokoro and will be housed in a 75 meter dome.

Their website boasts it to be "the world's ultimate theme ride back into the mists of time."

From the information provided, there seems to be plans for a monorail that would take you through the Jurassic Jungle. TheFeed just hopes it isn't as lame as the Jaws shark on the Universal Studios Tour.  Which tourists still scream at every time, seriously, come on people!  Who didn't see that coming two tram cars ahead?
