This week's MMO Report is all about one thing, Cataclysm. Yes we've dedicated the entire episode to the biggest World of Warcraft expansion to date, and I'm sure you can understand why. The wonderful Morgan Webb sat down with WoW's Game Director Tom Chilton to discuss what went into this enormous overhaul of Azeroth, what players can expect from the two new races, and where the game will be going from here. Oh, and just in case you've been living under a rock for the past week, make sure to check out StormyLilac93's infamous Ca-tackle-ism video. It's required reading for this week's episode.

Feedback goes on the road! We took the short trip down to Anaheim for BlizzCon 2010, and The MMO Report host Casey Schreiner joined our resident Warcraft expert Leah Jackson, previews editor Chris Monfette, and myself for some reflections on Cataclysm, Diablo 3, and StarCraft 2, and of course, BlizzCon itself. We'll still have a full episode of Feedback later this week as usual, but it was fun packing our lunches and heading off-campus for a change.
As you can see, Chris definitely doesn't give a #$@! about Blizzard. That's why we're putting in an expense request for a Clockwork Orange-style device that holds his eyes open and forces him to get some WarCraftiablo on. Check back on Wednesday for our regular-sized edition of Feedback, where we'll be talking in threes with Rock Band 3 and Fable 3 and more BlizzCon news.

This week the news includes one man who was so angry at Final Fantasy XIV that he sold 26 million dollars worth of Square Enix stock, Minecraft's own social networking site, and of course Uncle Casey's Mail Bag. See you all at Blizzcon '10!

On this week's MMO Report...The Warcraft patch paving the way for the series' upcoming Cataclsym has finally struck the community, sending the usual pre-expansion shockwave of balance issues throughout the realm. In addition, we've got our hands on a new Old Republic developer diary in which the ancient Council of Developers discuss the careful construction of the game's light-side mechanics and characters. And lastly, the loud, angry rumblings of an ousted Warhammer developer have hit the interwebs, carrying rumors that Old Republic is being privately regarded as a potential disaster.
