50 Cent, the master of birthdays and taking bullets, has a new videogame coming out. In 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, Fiddy and his ridiculously bare, buff arms, travel to Iraq to reclaim a blinged out skull that was stolen from him. Awesome.

However, the storyline got us thinking: there are a lot of other rappers out there who would make great gaming heroes, so X-Play put together this amazing list of the Top 10 Other Rap Videogames We'd Love to See and then TheFeed's resident artiste did some really cool photoshops to go along with 'em.

In these tumultuous, depressing times, we all need a little color in our lives. Sony understands this and is releasing a line of "Carnival Colored" PlayStation Portables.... but only in Japan.

Those colors are: "Vibrant Blue," "Radiant Red," "Bright Yellow," and "Spirited Green." The blue and red PSP 3000s come out on March 5 and will retail for $223, quickly followed by yellow and green on March 19th. Sony is also releasing PSP Carnival Colors Value Packs for $270 that come with the PSP hardware, Memory Stick PRO Duo (Mark2) 4GB, an AC adapter, a battery pack, a strap and matching pouch.

Matching pouch?? I'm booking my flight to Japan right now! No word on if these machines will ever be sold in the States.

In the battle of the fake-friend aggregation sites, FaceBook is killing MySpace. 200 million people visited Facebook worldwide in November 2008. That's nearly double the number who checked out MySpace. Here in the States, however, people are still stuck on MySpace.  

 Here's how tech crunch crunched the numbers:

Facebook now has nearly 100 million more worldwide users than MySpace, which added 4 million new users in December to 125 million total. The page view difference is more dramatic - Facebook had 80 billion monthly page views in December v. 43 billion for MySpace. Just six months ago the sites were about the same size.

Which social networking site do you use? Personally, I use Facebook. I haven't checked out my MySpace profile in over 6 months and it's been years since I checked in on Friendster. But overall, I prefer anti-social networking site Snubster.

Staring at a computer monitor all day is tough on your eyes. If you're a heavy gamer or iPhone addict, that's even more strain on your ocular instruments. Since none of us are about to give up our eye-frying jobs, gaming systems, or BlackBerries, what do you do? Gunnar Optiks offers a solution with its line of eyeglasses and lenses designed to relieve eyestrain due to heavy computer use, gaming, and PDA use. The company claims that its goods help prevent digital eye fatigue (DEF) and computer vision syndrome (CVS). I haven't heard of either of those, but I know my eyes get tired after a long day of work coupled with a multi-hour gaming session.

I've picked up a pair of Gunnars and will be using them for the next month. Today I'll have some unboxing fun with you and give you my initial impressions. I'll hit you with an update in two weeks to see if Gunnar Optiks have mad a big difference (or not). In a month, I'll give you my conclusion and closing thoughts on the company's curious eye wear. On a side note, I think it's cool that the company is (obviously) named after the more talented Nelson brother.

We missed it at CES, because it wasn't there, but the new Philips 21:9 aspect ratio TV is just what the cinephile ordered. There are many aspect ratios by which film and video can be displayed. Standard Defintion TV is typically 4:3, while HD TV is 16:9, and cinema-style films are 21:9. Some folks who purchased a new widescreen television have still found black bars on their Blu-ray movies, some of which have maintained their original aspect ratio.

At the end of the day, this 56" darling is a little ridiculous and ahead of itself when you consider that a 4:3 image of, say your favorite G4 show, would have an obscene amount of black space on either side. I, however, would seriously consider making this purchase if it meant I could watch two equally sized 4:3 images at once, with a pair of wireless headphones that separated the audio from each channel for each ear. Overkill? Or the future of media consumption?

We browse the Internet with multiple tabs and IMs and all kinds of crazy multi-tasking going on. Apart from the inevitable seizures, why shouldn't we be able to consume TV like that?

"TV, mute left channel." I hate commercials.

What's your idea of the best job in the world? Maybe official bikini inspector? How about beer taster? Perhaps assistant manager of a mid-sized furniture rental business? A job offered by the State of Queensland in Australia has all of those beat.

Queensland is looking for someone to hang out in a tropical paradise. They'll pay $150,000 (Australian) for you to spend six months on the Great Barrier Reef island of Hamilton, where you will spend your days feeding ocean fish, cleaning a pool and collecting deliveries of mail that arrive by plane, but only if you feel like it. You'll also go scuba diving and snorkeling and have the chance to enjoy at least 25 nearby island resorts -- if you want.

Perks include a luxury three-bedroom home and transportation to and from the island. Little experience or skills beyond swimming and snorkeling are needed. There is no age requirement either.

As you might expect, a lot of people are interested in the gig. Enough people checked out the official site that it crashed and burned yesterday...but it's back up now.

As anyone who reads this blog already knows, I'm known all over the world for my genial personality, empathetic nature and my astonishing success with the ladies, but not everyone can be as good at social skills as I am. Luckily, IT students at Potsdam University in Germany are being offered a course in flirting, so maybe they can come close.

The class teaches the unsuave how to write flirty text messages and emails, "impress people at parties and cope with rejection." Flirting 101 is part of an entire course section on social skills for computer nerds, covering topics like body language, public-speaking, stress management and presentation skills. The idea is to give students the social skills they need both at home and at work. I hope basic hygeine is added!

Capcom drops a sizeable batch of new media in terms of style. New screens (like the one featured above) depict more of your favorite fighters in typical comical, compromising battle arrangements. However, the featured dish is the uber stylized trailer included below. Watch the fury unfold as the legendary Gouken locks horns with Akuma in a super slick trailer that seems to barely contain the action involved.

Street Fighter IV is still en route for a February 17th release on the PS3 and Xbox 360 with the PC getting the brawler later on.

Ah... the creative, custom graphical abilities of Animal Crossing, Mario Paint, Forza 2... hell even Logo Writer (woot old school). Something about graphic customization in games always added so much more "soul" to the game.

Leave it to the EA Black Box devs to include a robust graphics creator along with the plethora of other snazzy features for Skate 2  to spice up the ride. With an online community to support this feature you can expect a "colorful" stockpile of images coming down the pipe. (At least the ones that don't get banned, looking at you Spore "creature" creators)

Although the T-Mobile G1 has quickly become a techno-geek darling, some consumers aren't happy with the color selection. The black is boring...the bronze is ugly...the white would be awesome except for the keyboard, etc. Thankfully, the fine folks at Colorware are here to save G1 users from drab colors. Android fanatics can send in their G1 and get a custom color job for $205. Alternatively, a new one can be purchased complete with a fresh paint job for an exorbitant sum of $755.

Colorware has been applying a crayon to numerous pieces of consumer electronics ranging from laptops, phones, Guitar Hero controllers, Dyson vacuums, and more. The company has a good reputation, so if you can stomach the high price for a bubblegum-pink G1, at least you know your product is in good hands.

The NY Daily News wrote a report on this utterly awesome Keyboard for Blondes. This bubblegum-pink keyboard labels numerous keys in a way that blondes can understand. For example:

• Space Bar = The Big One: "I Need My Space" Key
• Enter = Yes! I Want It!
• Tab = Useless Key
• Control = Somewhat Useless Key
• Backspace = Oops!
• Page Up = Way Up
• Page Down = Way Down
• Delete = Eraser

The function keys are mapped out to spell "useless keys" and the number pad uses dice numbers instead of digits. This is a completely unnecessary, tongue-in-cheek product that totally cracks me up.
