Nuggets From The Nets

In The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, you can kill a dragon and use its stolen soul to power your Dragon Shouts. This on its own is fairly awesome. The thing about Skyrim is that it also features a race of cat people, the Khajiit. And hey, there's another notable pop culture icon that features shouting cat people: Thundercats.

One tech-savvy fan, YouTube user Voraxith, saw this connection between the two and mashed them together with a Skyrim mod that converts his Thundercat emblem-wearing Khajiit's Storm Call shout into Lion-O's "Thundercats, ho!" battle cry (via Destructoid). THIS right here is why all of us should be playing Skyrim on PC.

He sings classics like, "Winter Wonderland", "Jingle Bell Rock" and some new tunes like "Zerglings Roasting On An Open Fire" and "Santa Baneling". I even make a small cameo in the video.

If you missed Minecon last month, not only did you miss out on a ton of fun stuff, you also missed out on one epic video: "The Evolution of Minecraft." It details how the Minecraft we all know and love came to be, in a step-by-step basis.

Nintendo made an appearance at the Los Angeles Auto Show recently and they brought some awesome life size Mario karts with them. The karts, based off of the series Mario Kart, were created by West Coast Customs. There were two custom, life size karts, one for Mario and one for his brother, Luigi. Both karts are giant representations of the actual karts from the upcoming 3DS game Mario Kart 7.

The life size Mario karts will eventually be given away to members of the GameStop PowerUp Rewards program. Winners will be announced in February.

Minecraft LEGO Set Announced: Now You Can Build Anything In Real Life Too

Minecraft developer Mojang has announced they're going to be working directly with LEGO to release an official Minecraft LEGO set. On top of already being awesome enough to create a LEGO Minecraft set, Mojang has also agreed to donate 1% of the royalties to charity. Isn't that nice?

"Minecraft is about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine in the virtual world," Mojang said. "You can build anything you imagine with LEGO bricks in the physical world. Minecraft and LEGO were meant to be together."

Links Of The TheFeed: Turkey Coma

You've probably been wondering where Links of TheFeed has been for the past week, refreshing your screen for days at a time at your desk. First of all, I apologize for the wait. Second of all, I was stuck in a turkey coma since Thanksgiving and was awakened by the shrill call of Skyrim. True story, Bethesda works miracles. But enough about me! This video in particular takes us on a journey with Joel as he teaches his friend Jack all about Kinectimals and some of their "playful" yet ferocious personalities.

Holy crap. My hat goes off to YouTube user ParadiseDecay (via Kotaku), and yours should too. Minecraft is capable of quite a lot, but this is one of the more elaborate efforts I've ever seen. The above video is a four-and-a-half minute re-creation of the trench run and destruction of the first Death Star from the original Star Wars movie (sans cutaways to Rebel high command and Imperial HQ).

It's not just an impressive feat of Minecraft construction, it's also a well-constructed work of machinima. The video uses the original movie sounds while rendering the action in all of its blocky glory. Definitely take a few minutes to check this sucker out. Also be sure to hit the jump for a "behind the scenes" video if you're curious to see how such an elaborate creation comes together.

Behold! 2,500 wheels of goat cheese spinning down a snowy mountain side in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. It's a thing of beauty, really. If you're playing Skyrim on the PC you'll be able to manipulate the game in crazy ways. PC gamers have a lot of power when it comes to adding to or modding their games. And as the saying goes: with great power, comes great cheese.

It's amazing how easily serious situations can be turned into funny ones with the careful application of a bleeped out word or two. You need to pick your moment carefully to maximize the humor, but this Unnecessary Censorship video for Skyrim from YouTube user NormalDifficulty highlights the many in-game dialogue moments that can be subverted with the odd BLEEP.

The video also proves, yet again, that Skyrim is an endless font of hilarity. As long as you're not a closet sociopath who uses the fictional world to live out your dark, unsettling fantasies, that is.

WARNING: The above video will most likely freak you out. And if it doesn't, just go ahead and commit yourself at the nearest loony bin, since that's where you should most definitely be.

Decapitations can be a part of your Skyrim experience, provided you unlock the right perk in either the One-Handed or Two-Handed skill categories. One player took this ability to a very disturbing extreme. I'll let the video speak for itself, largely because I'm worried about what the video's creator might do to me if I happen to say something negative. Thanks to Destructoid for finding this insane piece of Internet.

I know what you're thinking, "We get it G4, you're collectively obsessed with Skyrim." Rather than argue with you, I'm going to share with you the literal version of the Skyrim trailer. I'm addicted you guys, I'm legitimately jonseing for dragons to the point where I scour the internet for anything relalted to the Bethesda's lastest game. I need help.

Skyrule: What Happens When Skyrim And Zelda Meet

If you were playing either The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim or The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword this weekend then I have a picture you're probably going to enjoy. This piece of art was created by Deviant Art user MetalHanzo and it combines the style from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker with Bethesda's promotional image for Skyrim. You can find the full picture after the break, and believe me when I say, it's pretty badass.
