When I was in high school, I was in the school musical, mainly?to meet?theater girls--I had a thing for crazy broads and tennis Amazons even back then.?Also I'm a twinkle-toed fruit and just wanted to dance.
The?drama club?took a field trip to New York City?to see?a revival performance of 42 Second Street on?Broadway.?We rode a?bus up to the city and?spent the day walking around New York?buying ridiculously?bad fake?IDs and getting shot down trying to buy drinks in bars with them. That was fun, but the play itself was boring and girly and that ended my Broadway dreams.
If the play had been The Evil Dead musical, I might have pursued a life in the theater. The combination of singing, dancing, zombies and chainsaws is sure to be a hit!

Arthur Fairwell claimed that he believed he was rocker Ozzy Osbourne and when he heard that Ozzy was accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl at one time, he was merely following in his footsteps.
The attack took play in Bradbury, in Sydney's south-west in May 2004. The 39-year-old had pleaded guilty to six offenses, including aggravated sexual intercourse without consent and two counts of administering a stupefying drug.

I'm too busy with my important jet-set lifestyle keep up with what's going on in the world of cell phone gaming. I use my phone to check movie times and call my mom.

Reunited ?90s grungy alt-rockers Dinosaur Jr. had their gear stolen after a gig in Brooklyn, NY last night.
J Mascis and his band woke up this morning to find that the their trailer had been broken into and all of the gear has been lifted. So spread the word to everyone you know, every music store, pawn shop, club... anywhere you can think they may show up.
The band is driving to the next gig in Amherst to see if they can borrow enough gear to play the show tonight at Toads in New Haven, but it may have to be cancelled.
The ashes of deceased Winchester, Kansas man Justin Manning and the urn they were housed in were stolen from his grave last week.
Manning died July 25 in a car accident on Interstate 70 and was buried in Bonner Springs Cemetery. Unfortunately, grave robbers swiped his remains.
But here's the really weird part: the thieves left lyrics to a Slipknot song behind at the gravesite!
"I strongly make an appeal for the people involved that they return the cremains," Manning family member Brent Wallace said.

The uncle of Viva La Bam star Bam Margera was charged with two counts of sexual assault on a child on Wednesday.
Last week police arrested Vincent Margera, 50, after a signing at a Lakewood, Colorado, skate park. According to MTV.com he is accused of "inappropriately fondling or groping two girls, ages 12 and 14, during two separate incidents at a signing event at Woodward Skatepark at Colorado Mills mall Friday night. He was held in jail without bond until Monday, when he posted $50,000 bond and was released."
Both counts are class-four felonies, though the charges don't necessarily carry a mandatory prison term. If convicted, however, Margera could face two years in prison and/or probation that could last from a mandatory 10 years up to lifetime supervision.
The a-hole who allegedly punched a Korn fan to his death earlier this month is facing murder charges for his acts.
Michael Scott Axley, 25, went up on? felony murder and aggravated assault charges Tuesday over the death of Atlanta's 30-year-old Andy Richardson during the Aug. 1 Korn concert at the HiFi Buys Amphitheater. Bail was set at $40,000 by Judge Richard Hicks, who ordered him to stay out of Fulton County except to visit his lawyer. Hicks also imposed a dusk curfew and said Axley could not consume alcohol while free on bond.
Pete "Sid Vicious Without the Temper or Good Band" Doherty got busted yet again for drugs. On Thursday the Babyshambles frontman was charged with seven counts of possessing drugs including cocaine and diamorphine.
Doherty, 27 going on 13, was in police custody and should be appearing in court today after being stopped by London police on the street last week on suspicion of drug possession.
Last month Doherty announced that he was canceling a scheduled concert and entering a drug rehabilitation clinic in his latest bid to quit drugs. Um, I take it that didn't stick...
