We've never considered looking to anime for wardrobe inspiration, but these Anime Expo 2011 Japanimation-Inspired outfit photos have got us thinking that the weirder the attire, the better. What about you? See anything you might like to add to your wardrobe?

We love it when people cosplay as our favorite video game characters from Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur V, BioShock 2, Street Fighter IV, Mass Effect 2, and Assassin's Creed. It's a special delight to see cosplayers take on the roles of the heroes and villains we've spent countless, button-mashing hours admiring or trying to defeat. That's why our Anime Expo 2011 video game cosplay pictures are extra special. Seeing them is like watching the best video game ever come to life!
Epic April is all about surprises and we've got one more Death Star sized surprise for you today. It's an exclusive look at St*r Warz Burlesque as presented by The Devil's Playground, the sexiest and most talented troupe of burlesque performers this side of Tatooine!
If you've always felt that Star Wars would have been better if it had a whole lot more salacious beauties dressed in outfits skimpier than Princess Leia's slave bikini (or if you've always been curious about what goes on backstage at a burlesque show), this is for you!
Also, for you greedy Sith, we have a behind-the-scenes photo gallery of the show available for your guilty pleasure right now!
AOTS’s own Kevin Pereira is stopping by NPR’s Marketplace today to discuss the incredible and indelible Beamz Music Performance System. You’ll remember Beamz from last week’s QVC Showdown.
If you’re in the Los Angeles area, tune in today to KCRW (89.9 FM) at 2 pm or KPCC (89.3 FM) at 3 pm and again at 6:30 pm (or feel free to listen online). May the Beamz be with you!
The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters is the greatest (videogame based) movie of all time. We know that game-based movies generally suck, but this one isn’t just slightly better than the rest of them, it’s actually really good. That’s why we were so jazzed about the DVD release party, held at the legendary Westwood Arcade in Los Angeles.
If you weren’t in attendance, let us tell you, it was like a hip, Hollywood party, only hardcore gamers were the celebrities. Don’t believe us? Admittedly, it is pretty hard to swallow, but you’ll get all the proof you need later today on AOTS!
