Marvel laid out their future movie plans at their panel today, from the release date of the much talked about Iron Man 3 to finally announcing a release for the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

Here is their schedule as it pans out for now.

  • Iron Man 3 - May 3, 2013
  • Thor: The Dark World - November 8, 2013
  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier - April 4, 2014
  • Guardians of the Galaxy - August 1, 2014

Those are the four projects that Marvel has announced are in the works. We will let you know as more information becomes available.

World renowned chef Anthony Bourdain sits down with John Barrowman during G4TV Live at Comic-Con 2012 to talk about Get Jiro!, a graphic novel starring a skilled yet deadly sushi chef living in a near future Los Angeles. Bourdain brings his culinary mastery to the page as the story involves warring factions of chefs who no doubt employ their cooking techniques in plenty of gruesome ways.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey cast members Andy Serkis (Gollum) and Martin Freeman (Bilbo) were on hand with Kumail Nanjiani at Comic-Con 2012 to talk all about the upcoming fantasy film. Serkis discussed what it was like stepping back in to the role of Gollum, and even tells us about how he was left out of the Fellowship of the Tattoo from the original trilogy.

Blair Butler checks out the biggest comic book at this year’s convention, the Artist Edition of Daredevil: Born Again. The new version reprints the original artwork from the series, with every smudge and imperfection still intact. Only visitors to Comic-Con 2012 will be able to get their hands on one of these limited editions. Blair also gets a good look at the newest Parker series.

Candace Bailey takes on the undead at The Walking Dead Escape, a mile-long obstacle course at Comic-Con 2012. For fans of The Walking Dead, now you can know what it feels like the narrowly escape becoming zombie chow as you take on ramps, rope climbs, and a whole lot of zombies. At the end of this journey, we run into Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead, to talk about what it takes to survive the zombie Apocalypse.

The Evolution of Gears of War From Gears of War: Judgment Comic-Con 2012 Panel

Gears of War: Judgment will be a prequel to the established Gears series and even though the game is still a ways from release, (March 19, 2013), we want to know what sets this game apart from the previous Gears games. That question was answered at the Gears of War: Judgment panel at Comic-Con 2012. Cliff Bleszinski and Rod Fergusson had several new videos and announcements to give gamers exactly the Gears info they wanted.

Speaking of which, here are five ways Gears of War: Judgment will be different from Gears of War 1, 2 and 3.

1. Tone

Judgment's new tone is credited to its new writers, Rob Alten and Todd Bissel, both established writers in Hollywood and in gaming. Their writing style and mature sensibility will add another layer to the game. Brutality and the melancholy are both core themes of the series, and these themes will shape Judgment as well.

G4TV gets a chance to sit down and talk to the cast of Dr. Who; Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and Arthur Darvill. They talk about people dressing as them at Comic-Con and the Ponds leaving the TARDIS in the next season of Dr. Who. With only a couple of episodes left before the doctor finds a new companion, everyone is wondering how it will all end for one of our favorite time traveling assistants.

The mysteries of the item that fell to Earth after The Avengers movie gets reveled in the new Marvel short, Item 47, starring Lizzy Caplan and Jesse Bradford. The two play a couple who stumble upon an alien gun, and start their very own crime spree. The actors talk about the 800 lucky fans that got to see the short before anyone else at Comic-Con 2012.
