LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will feature an all-star cast of characters, yes I'm talking about the Justice League. When the Joker teams up with Lex Luther, the dark, and blocky, knight will have no choice but to call on his other masked friends to help. Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Green Lantern all made the cut.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Gameplay Preview »

For the first time in LEGO history a LEGO game will feature voice acting. Previous installments relied on sighs and squeals to convey plot.

"The LEGO series takes it to the next level by treading into new and dangerous territory: voice acting.  While we didn’t hear any of the tender tones coming from the game this time, be assured that the man behind the mask will have a voice to go along with that mug of his. Developers swear that all of the humor that you loved from the previous game will still be there, only with voices now."

NASCAR The Game: Inside Line Confirmed For Fall 2012

Eutechnyx will be following up 2011's NASCAR The Game: 2011 with the fall 2012 launch of NASCAR The Game: Inside Line for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii platforms, a press release confirms. The developer's first crack at the pro racing license for Activision fell a bit short of the mark, as our NASCAR The Game: 2011 review states, but Activision's clearly has faith in the follow-up.

And why not? Eutechnyx is known best these days for its free-to-play PC racer, Auto Club Revolution. The long-lived studio also has a ton of racing sims on its resume. Executive producer Dave Thompson promises a number of improvement in the 2012 NASCAR game, including a newly revised career mode in which you can "rise up through the ranks, attract sponsors, and upgrade [your] car's components in the quest to be the Spring Cup Series Champion. There are also new online features "that include realistic race weekends."

You can keep up with how the game is taking shape on its official website. You'll also want to stay tuned for more details as E3 '12 draws closer.

Pikmin 3 Development Reportedly

The U.S. release of Pikmin 2 for Nintendo's Wii console is now set for June 10, 2012, a morning press release confirms. The much-loved GameCube classic received a 2009 Wii-make release in Japan, Europe, and Australia as part of the publisher's New Play Control! series, but a U.S. version never materialized. Rumors of the Wii port coming to the U.S. first surfaced in April, and now we have confirmation straight from the source.

Pikmin 2 will be released as a Nintendo Selects greatest hits title, meaning it'll carry a price tag of $19.99. The same press release also confirms Mario Power Tennis as a Nintendo Selects title as well. Meanwhile, two other popular Wii games -- Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Donkey Kong Country Returns -- are both seeing value-added price drops, down to $29.99. It's not clear when the price changes go into effect for the three currently available games, but Amazon and GameStop both still list them at their previous price points.

In other words, if you were suddenly hit with an intense desire to own Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Donkey Kong Country Returns, or Mario Power Tennis, you might want to keep that impulse at bay for a few days or weeks.

Pikmin 3 Development Reportedly

According to Nintendo Power magazine, Pikmin 2 is coming out for the Wii in North America... finally. You Pikmin 2 fans have been waiting for a long time -- Pikmin 2 was originally announced for the Wii way back in 2009, and folks in Europe have been playing since then. So if you need a reason to blow the dust off your Wii, you'll have it soon.

It's not known if anything new is planned for the North American release of Pikmin 2, a game that was originally a GameCube title.

If you need a reason for the supposed release, consider this: Nintendo has said it's showing off Pikmin 3 for the Wii U at E3 this year, and if there's a better way to remind gamers why they love this important series of games, the realease of the second game in the series will do it.

Speaking of E3 2012, allow me to hype G4's coverage for a moment. We will be all over E3 2012, bringing you game previews, news, videos and all kinds of surprises and great stuff.

Video game characters might be able to escape death, but there’s no extra life when it comes to taxes. But as it turns out, there are a whole lot of cheat codes if you have enough money. This being Tax Day – you did remember to pay your taxes, didn’t you? – we’re going to check out the guys who get hit with the biggest bill from Uncle Sam, the rich. Virtual rainbow roads don’t just build themselves you know. The digital 1% needs to chip in their fair share as well.

As we count down the five riches video game characters, we’re going take a peek at their 1040EZ to see if they’re paying their fair share or will the Mushroom Kingdom need to cut back on their piranha plant demolition project.

Lara Croft going from Eidos to Square Enix in May 2009

Lara Croft – Tomb Raider series

Net Worth: ~ 700 Million

You can’t run around some of the most beautiful spots in the world and start smashing pots without dropping a few dollars. The Croft Family kept a few million in a handy trust fund since we rarely see the young Lara do any sort of menial labor. Sure, the her trademark khaki shorts and aqua tank top runs you only a couple of bucks at Target, but the amount of ammo she wastes in any given area could easily rearm a small country. You know that you have more money than God when you can turn a part of your mansion into an obstacle course.

Lara gets away with the lower taxes by gaining much of her income the old fashion way – through stealing it. As it turns out, the tax form doesn’t have a little box for “golden statues stolen from Peru.” Despite having to pay an inheritance tax and possible claims on interest, Lara gets away rather unscathed when it comes to Tax Season.

Mass Effect 3 Razer Peripherals Include DLC

In a month where so many new releases hit the shelves, it's utterly surprising that Mass Effect 3 came out on top as the number one selling game in March. Nevertheless, a congratulations is in order to EA and the BioWare team on putting out a title that fans are still talking about every single day and playing with a feverish passion.

Mass Effect 3 sold more than twice as much as did Mass Effect 2 during its introductory month in January 2010,” said Anita Frazer, a NPD Group Analyst.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, MLB 12: The Show, NBA 2K12, and SSX rounded out the top five games sold in March according to the NPD Group. Gamers spent a total of $553.1MM on game software throughout March, which added up to 25 percent less than they spent on games last March.

To see which other five games topped the March sales chart hit the break.
