Following hot on the heels of Rolls Royce and Bentley, Lamborghini has set up shop in India and are selling its Gallardo, Gallardo Spyder and Murcielago models to the masses And by masses, we mean 10 people, which is how many the car company has projected it will sell this year there.
India has a population of 1.08 billion people, yet most of them are really, really poor. And with roads being of the dirt variety, driving a sport car like a Lamborghini is a very showy, obnoxious way of telling people, "I have waaaay more money than you, come burn my house to the ground." But the company has already sold six cars and delivered two. They expect to sell 50-60 cars per year soon enough.
