I've been a fan of South Park since the show started in the mid 1990s, so I was watching last night's episode, as I always do, and while the plot line was hysterical -- the boys start the Crack Baby Athletics Association and sell the video game rights to EA Sports -- I was most impressed with a bit of background business. As you can see in the above screencap, to the right, that's clearly an X-Play award on the wall of EA's offices! Nice!

StarCraft is one of those game series that I never really understood. Luckily for gamers like myself, Leah Jackson spends way too much time playing StarCraft 2. And when she's not playing SC2, she's watching other people play SC2. Her obsession is getting worse, but before we stage an intervention we got her to explain StarCraft to us. I learned a lot, like what the Pro-Ross, Zurg and Tearins are.

Gears of War is a complex series. For those who aren't familiar with Emergence Day, the Locust and the plight of Marcus Fenix, you need to see this. X-Play's Michael Leffler studied Gears of War Literature at Harvard and he's taken time from his busy day to explain the lore of Gears of War.

There are many kills in the Gears of War 3 beta, but none have witness the most epic kill in history, until now. As we were playing the multiplayer beta for Gears of War 3 we performed an "out of this world" kill that left our opponent saying, what just happen? After watching this epic kill video, many might understand the purpose of life or even the purpose of the universe, but one thing is for sure, history was made.

Have you ever wondered what you'd do if you had a real portal gun? Check out the below X-Play video, where host Blair Herter finds out. Blair was lucky enough to purchase the "Championship Edition*" of Portal 2 in Mexico, and it came with a working Portal gun! Well, it's a working "Portalé" gun anyway...and "working" might not be the right word. Anyway, see what happens on X-Play when portal havoc takes over the set. I, for one, worry for the Intern.

Mortal Kombat 9 has many secrets for players to discover and we at G4 found a hidden message from Shao Kahn that no one else has. Find out what message Shao Kahn left for the Mortal Kombat fans by watching the video below. In addition, if you would like to see the message for yourself, all you have to do is enter the Mortal Kombat Krypt and move all the way up towards the right. Look inside the middle window and wait, his message should appear.

I am recognized as a video game expert throughout most of the United States and parts of Canada, but Pokemon, as a thing,  really passed me by. Luckily, fellow TheFeed editor Nikole Zivalich is a Pokemon fanatic, and took the time out of her busy schedule to explain Pokemon to me at length.
