
Love it or hate it, the Twilight saga is coming to a close, and the cast made one last Hall H appearance during the Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 Panel at Comic-Con 2012.
As the first Hall H panel of 2012, Twilight started off on a bittersweet note as host Eric Moro paid a quick tribute the Twilight fan who was tragically struck down by a car two days ago while camping out in anticipation of the panel.
After a brief moment of silence, however, the crowd began to roar as the lights went down and the Breaking Dawn 2 logo appeared on the screen.
While Comic-Con has grown into a celebrity juggernaut over the past several years, a lot of the rapid growth can be attributed to the crazy fan response when the series first debuted here four years ago in 2008. Since then, the series has stomped the box office, breaking records, but not returning to San Diego. Now, as the series comes to a close, the cast and crew made one last appearance at the show that made them famous.
Moro was joined on stage by Kristen Stewart (Bella Cullen), Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen), Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black), Mackenzie Foy (Renesmee), and author/producer Stephanie Meyer. Unfortunately, Director Bill Condon was absent due to work commitments on the film in London, but he did send a special message and introduced the first seven minutes of the film on video.
