Your Need for Speed Most Wanted gameplay demo is here with Criterion's Steve Cuss, Morgan Webb and Kevin Pereira from E3 2012.  But don't call it a comeback, call it a re-boot. 

Ever want to be wanted?  With NFS Most Wanted you will be.  Start at the bottom and work your way to the top of the social ladder of the racing world.  Friends in the game will compete for speed points which will determine who is the most wanted.  You have the freedom to do whatever you want, go wherever you want and to drive as fast as you want in the open world created by EA's Criterion.  The classic arcade racing style chosen for this game offers you sixty cars to choose from so you can explore and drive with reckless abandon.  When you factor in tracking of speed tests, online events, collectibles, jumps, drifts and speed gates you will get chased by the cops (although unlikely they will catch up to you) and get points for that too.

"It's in Criterion's DNA to take something beautiful and smash it up," so if that is your thing, watch the Need for Speed Most Wanted Gameplay Demo to hold you over until October 30, 2012 when the game comes out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PC, iOS, and Android devices.

G4 has announced its Best of E3 2012 nominees! This year’s field of games is one of the best we’ve ever seen, and that means we can all look forward to countless hours of unbelievable gaming experiences over the coming months and months. For the time being, we wanted to call particular attention to what we feel are the best of the best of E3 2012. Hence, the following list of nominees.

This year’s most attention-grabbing games includes everything from AAA blockbusters to downloadable titles and everything in between. To say that the upcoming slate of games has something for everyone would be a gross understatement, as you can see by the full Best of E3 2012 list below!

Need For Speed Most Wanted, which apparently can go so fast that it lost its colon, returns the Need For Speed franchise to the Most Wanted series. Criterion Games Designer Matt Follett talks about some of the features of the new racing thriller, including the vast social aspect.

Criterion's take on the 2005 classic races into stores on October 30.

Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing Transformed producer Joe Neate introduces in this E3 gameplay video the multi-terrain racing game featuring Sonic and other Sega favorites. Players will have to fly, boat, and drive their way to victory, says Neate, who says the different racing modes will require time and practice to master.

Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing Transformed will release this 2012 holiday season for PS3, Xbox 360, Ps Vita, and the Nintendo 3DS... so you have no reason not to buy it.

In our Madden NFL 13 gameplay video from G4's E3 2012 Live show, EA's Larry Richart goes in depth with Blair Herter about what this latest football game installment has to offer, like the new Impact Infinity engine, the read-and-react defense system and Connected Careers for various career modes that you can share online with your friends. So now playing football on a video game is almost like playing football in real life! Except less sweaty.

Sony Games Director Omar Kendall talked PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale at an E3 2012 interview, telling viewers the game is "not about knocking dudes off a level." Instead, the game focuses on scoring points and launching powerful level 1, 2, and 3 super attacks, while avoiding environmental hazards. Other environmental features challenge players mid-combat, such as by forcing players to answer questions.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale offers PlayStation fan favorites in this crossover fighting video game, including Sly Cooper, Sweet Tooth, Fat Princess, Nathan Drake, and Parappa. It will be available for the PS3 and PlayStation Vita. And Vita players will be able to play with friends on their PS3. All-Stars is set for release this 2012 holiday season.

The PlayStation Vita gets its own mysterious assassin with Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation.

Not only does PS Vita get a new wielder of the hidden blade, but from the looks of it, we get our very first female assassin. During the day, she appears to be young Puritan woman, but at night - or at least later that day - we get to see her climbing trees and taking our her mark with a single stab.

Players who get Liberation will also gain a little something extra while playing Assassin's Creed 3. If that wasn't enough to sweeten the deal for you, the new PS Vita Bundle package comes with the crystal white PS Vita, 4 gigabyte memory card, and the game this October 30th. This truly is the year of the assassin.

Call of Duty: Declassified has been announced for the PlayStation Vita.

Sony made the official reveal during its E3 2012 press conference, but offered little details beyond the promise of a AAA shooter experience thanks to the Vita's dual thumbsticks and graphical horsepower.

According to Sony at its E3 2012 press conference, Sony PSOne classic games are coming to the PlayStation Vita. The two tiles mentioned: Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy.

PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale has been announced for the PS Vita. It will be cross-playable with the PS3 version of the game. This news broke at Sony's E3 2012 press conference. This Street Fighter X Tekken PS Vita trailer contains some of our favorite fighters from both franchises: Bryan Fury, Jack-X, Ken, Ryu... the character list goes on and on until you reach 55.  Why 55? That's the total number of fighters in the SF X Tekken roster for PS Vita.

The furious combo chains are pretty obvious in this Street Fighter X Tekken PS Vita gameplay trailer. What you may miss in the midst of all the action is this handheld game looks just as good as its console counterparts. On top of its sweet graphics, this version of Street Fighter X Tekken  is cross-compatible with the PS3. That means you'll be able to play the portable game on a big screen through your PS3 console. You don't need to own anything more than the Vita game, a Vita (your controller), and a PS3. That's a killer combo.

Last year, the Sony Press Conference brought out the big guns with their PlayStation Vita reveal, the Dust 514 exclusive, and something called “Transfarring.” We look to this year with hope for more exclusives and hints at what the next console cycle may have in store for us.

As I eagerly clutch my Move controller in my sweaty hand, I turn to the greatest gaming minds at G4 to find out you can expect when Sony takes to the stage this E3 2012.

PlayStation Vita users will soon be able to more efficiently explore bizarre Internet videos when Sony releases a YouTube app for the portable device at the end of June 2012. The free app will be available straight from the PS Vita Store, though the PlayStation Blog post announcing the news makes no mention of whether or not it will support streaming over 3G connections as well as Wi-Fi.

It looks like the app will offer a relatively full-featured experience, with users able to search out videos, mark favorites, and punch in comments from the comfort of their own YouTube account. Now, instead of whipping out your iPhone for a video walkthrough of the final boss in Resistance: Burning Skies, you can simply multitask over to the Vita's YouTube app and then zap back to the game. The future, folks. It's here.

LEGO The Lord of the Rings has been announced by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The blocky game will be developed by TT Games, the studio behind all of the other brilliant LEGO games to date. LEGO The Lord of the Rings will follow the original storylines of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Also known as my favorite movies ever.

Players will assume the role of Frodo and friends as they journey to Mordor in order to destroy The One Ring. Aragorn the Ranger, Gandalf the Wizard, Legolas the Elf, Gimli the Dwarf, Boromir a Man of Gondor, and Frodo’s Hobbit friends Sam, Merry and Pippin will all be along for the ride. Players will get to, "explore wonders, solve timeless riddles, and overcome endless foes in their quest to destroy the Ring," according to WB.

This Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time gameplay video demos Sly and the gang sneaking their way onto PS3 and PS Vita later this year, ready to steal the limelight from other platform games. Lead designer Mat Kraemer explained that one of the ways Sony is going to pull off this attention-stealing heist is by giving you access to long-time foe and Sly Cooper love interest Carmelita.

A playable Carmelita is only one Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time surprise. Kraemer also said the game will feature epic boss battles, a time-traveling story and a colorful cast of playable Sly ancestors. You'll be able to assume the role of Sly, Carmelita and his thieving family tree this fall.
