LittleBigPlanet by Media Molecule has always been about breaking down barriers between players and the worlds in which they play, encouraging creativity and imagination. We saw just how much the game has already improved with the sequel LittleBigPlanet 2 (pictured above), so what happens when the world of Sackboy/girl has a new system on which to roam, the PlayStation Vita, with its touchscreen interface and powerful hardware? Turns out, you get some pretty grin-inducing new gameplay:
"For instance, any object that sackboy can grab, you can also grab simply by touching the object with your finger. Need to spin a giant wheel but there aren't any switches nearby? Simple. Just flick your finger across the wheel, and it will spin, allowing sackboy to then grab onto it and pull himself up to a higher ledge."
While Jake Gaskill wasn't able to try out the level editor feature so integral to the LBP experience, this gameplay snippet is more than enticing enough to pique the interest.
