Capcom's fall 2012 release of Street Fighter X Tekken for the PlayStation Vita will come packing an array of cross-platform features, including multiplayer versus matches between Vita and PS3 users as well as DLC and customization data sharing. In another twist, wireless play over the Vita's 3G connection will be supported along with local and Wi-Fi connections.
The Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken, which hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles on March 6, also adds 12 new playable fighters to the roster of 43 in the PS3 version. Those who only the PS3 version of the game will be able to add those fighters to their roster on the console side as free DLC with the purchase of the Vita game. Presumably this also means that PS3 owners who don't own a Vita will at some point be able to pay for the expanded roster in the PS Store.
