Rocksteady Studios has kept quiet so far about its expected Batman: Arkham City follow-up, but new information from higher in the Warner food chain suggests that the unannounced game is coming this year. Time Warner chief financial officer John K. Martin let the detail slip during the company's latest investor call (via Kotaku).
Martin's statement is pretty clear on the facts: "And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise." There's been no confirmation from publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, though Arkham recently popped up on the gaming press radar when Warner registered a chunk of related domains in January 2013.
