Bioshock Infinite Mechanical Patriot Revealed: Meet Your Red, White And Blue Nightmare

BioShock Infinite won't be here until March 26, 2013, but Irrational Games is ready now to reveal what PC users can expect in terms of in-game options and hardware needs. A new post on the studio's website serves up a lengthy rundown of the PC version's control options (mouse/keyboard, gamepad, both with user-defined settings) and video settings.

Issues with the original 2007 game's widescreen presentation have been addressed in Infinite, with non-4:3 aspect ratios no longer cutting off content at the fringes of the screen. As technical director Chris Kline writes in the blog post, "the wider you go, the more you'll see." Kline also confirms support for multi-monitor gaming using solutions from AMD, NVIDIA, and Matrox.

Kline also runs through the minimum and required PC specs for the game, confirming that BioShock Infinite will include DX11 support, though only DX10 compatibility is required. Read on for the not-terribly-scary rundown of what you'll need to play this puppy on a PC.
