Starting tomorrow, January 10, 2013, Dust 514 officially becomes a part of the EVE Online single-shard MMORPG universe, according to an announcement on the official EVE website. CCP Games' PlayStation 3-exclusive free-to-play FPS launched in 2012 as a grand-scale multiplayer shooter with some ambitious ideas for the future.
In practical terms, Dust players are classified as "mercernaries" who can belong to any EVE corporation (you can also create your own), with each multiplayer match amounting to an assignment whose results ripple into the EVE Online universe.
