Marvel has officially released 4 new photos from Iron Man 3, the next entry on deck for the array of films in their Avengers saga, hitting May 3, 2013.
While each of these images were taken from the spectacular debut trailer that hit last month, they do serve to bring some things to focus that were largely ignored; Namely Rebecca Hall's character of Maya Hansen; one of the scientists who, along with Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce), develop the "Extremis" nano-virus, which will become a critical point in the film's plot, causing carnage, but also giving Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark a HUGE boost to his tech.
Besides that, we also have another good look at the "Iron Patriot" armor that James Rhodes (Don Cheadle) will sport in the film, as well as a few snapshots of the hard times that await Tony in this third solo outing.
