DmC: Devil May Cry To Feature Vergil' Downfall DLC

Capcom's new take on Dante arrives on January 15, 2013 in DmC: Devil May Cry and fans can now also look forward to a story-based DLC pack that will be coming shortly after the game's launch. The Vergil's Downfall add-on will be available for free to those who pre-order DmC from GameStop, though you'll also be able to buy it for $8.99 / 720 MS Points on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live, respectively.

Vergil's Downfall tells the story of Dante's twin brother, handing control of Vergil over to the players. Details are minimal at this point, but the announcement confirms that the DLC pack will include "new weapons, combos, enemies, and locations." Capcom also confirms that the DLC won't be included on the disc, and that it will only be available for download post-launch.
