The Xbox Surface, a 7-inch gaming tablet created by Microsoft, is reportedly in development. According to The Verge, Microsoft has already reached the initial hardware planning stage for the device, which won’t run Windows 8 or Windows RT like the Microsoft Surface, but a custom Windows kernel that focuses on gaming.
As for specs, the Xbox Surface will allegedly be equipped with a 720p HD display, an ARM-based TI CPU and a 28-nanometer AMD graphics processor.
Unfortunately, Microsoft is keeping mum on whether or not they're working on the Xbox Surface, but as we get more details we'll be sure to share them.
