Apple announced the 4th generation iPad seven months after the release of their third generation iPad. This announcement has left nearly half of iPad owners disgruntled. According to Toluna QuickSurveys, 45% of the 2,000 US iPad owners questioned were upset about the announcements.

The iPad Mini was met with more positive response with 14% of consumers calling it a must buy. 32% consider is a likely buy. The iPad Mini's major selling points, according the survey, were its long battery life and "speed and performance."
I don't see what the big deal is. It's a bummer iPad 3 owners won't own the "best" product on the market, but it doesn't invalidate their iPad. Does it bother you? Are you going to buy the iPad 4?
