Guild Wars 2 Halloween Event "Shadow Of The Mad King" Now Live

The Guild Wars 2 Halloween Event "Shadow of the Mad King" is now live for players to participate in. The event marks the first big update to the massively popular GW2, adding 80 new pieces of content, many of which revolve around a spooky four-act story culminating in a big Halloween event on October 31.

Shadow of the Mad King brings back the loony Mad King Thorn from Guild Wars, and the event will let players trick or treat, go on scavenger hunts, craft special Halloween-related recipes, and play through all sorts of Halloween-themed mini-dungeons and areas across Tyria. There are even themed events complete with achievements to partake in; the only thing missing is you.

Along with the Shadow of the Mad King, other additions to the game include a new mini-dungeon called Vexa's Lab, and other dynamic events throughout Fireheart Rise, the Plains of Ashford, and Timberline Falls. There are even new jumping puzzles, one of my favorite parts of the game.
