Those who decided to wait for the December 4, 2012 release of Telltale Games' five-episode first "season" of The Walking Dead may want to give the newly announced GameStop-exclusive Collector's Edition a look. The $70 package PlayStaton 3/Xbox 360 includes all five episodes on one disc along with The Walking Dead - Compendium One, which collects issues 1-48 of Robert Kirkman's comics into a single book.
The cover of Compendium One is adorned with exclusive cover art from Charlie Adlard, the artist who replaced Tony Moore starting with issue #7 in the series. It's not a bad deal, especially if you've never taken the plunge with Kirkman's stories; the first 48 issues runs through roughly half of the still-ongoing series. You'll also have the option of picking up just the game and nothing more from the retailer of your choice for $30.
