A fresh batch of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey images have been posted online courtesy of Cinemarcado. The images give us our first look at Elijah Woods as he reprises his role as Frodo Baggins. Frodo, the star of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, will most likely be setting up the events of the Hobbit films as an interaction with Bilbo. I imagine it will be something like this:
Frodo: Bilbo, how did you find the ring? Tell me about your adventures.
Bilbo: Sure thing ol'chap!
[fade to black]

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be released in theaters on December 14, 2012. It will be part one in its own trilogy.
