Halo 4 Leaked? Microsoft Investigating

Has Halo 4 been leaked? Several videos (which have been taken down) of people playing the highly-anticipated first-person shooter began showing up on the Internet recently along with pictures of gamers' Xbox Live profiles showing them playing the campaign. There have also been various box shots creeping around like the one above. Usually we're skeptical, and we still are, but regardless of if people are playing the game or not, Microsoft isn't happy.

“We have seen the reports of Halo 4 content being propped on the Web and are working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation," said a Microsoft spokesperson.

The Halo franchise has seen leaks like this before, with Halo 2, Halo 3, and  Halo: Reach all leaking before they could hit store shelves. It's kind of like tradition at this point. The official release of Halo 4 is November 6, 2012.
