It looks like most of Level-5's Guild01, the Nintendo 3DS-exclusive game compilation developed by a supergroup of Japanese game designers, is headed to the U.S. and Europe for a 3DS eShop release. Three of the collection's four titles will be released a la carte in the eShop sometime in fall 2012, with Suda 51's Liberation Maiden already available in Europe.
Guild01 was first revealed in October 2011, bringing together a group of Japanese game developers that includes Suda 51 (No More Heroes), Yoot Saito (Seaman, SimTower), and Yasumi Matsuno (Vagrant Story). Their three games -- Liberation Maiden, Air Porter, and Crimson Shroud, respectively -- are all confirmed for the U.S./Europe eShops.
The absentee title is Rental Bukiya de Omasse from Yoshiyuki Hirai, a member of Japan's America Zarigani comedy group. It's a rhythm game in which a father/son work in their shop to create weapons for fantasy adventurers to rent. It's also the game I was most hoping to try from this collection, so here's hoping that it eventually makes its way to the eShop as well.
Nintendo has yet to confirm the U.S. release dates for any of these, though with Liberation Maiden already out in Europe, it's probably a safe bet that we'll see it here in the U.S. very soon as well.
