Serious Sam 3: BFE fans will get to explore more of the game's rather un-serious world in the upcoming Jewel of the Nile campaign add-on, which we now know will be coming to Steam on October 16, 2012. For $9.99 you get three campaign missions set in the middle of BFE's story that send Sam to the jerk-infested Temple of Isis.
Devolver Digital and Croteam first revealed the DLC details in July 2012, confirming that the expansion would add an XL2 Lasergun and RAPTOR Sniper Rifle in addition to the new campaign content. The Steam product page also makes reference to a new battle axe weapon, a tool that promises to make slicing and dicing Mental's forces all the more enjoyable.
