Super expensive Italian sports car aficionados, listen up. Ferrari has announced a new feature for its FF series car. The Ferrari FF will now be available with a full-length, translucent panoramic roof. The see-through is made from one gigantic pane of glass. Sounds safe!
The glass roof "gives occupants a genuine open-air driving feeling, while providing thermal and acoustic insulation," according to Ferrari. To me this means the perks of a convertible, with none of the wind to mess up my hair! It doesn't sound like that roof is going anywhere, so the "open-air" feeling most likely comes from rolling down your windows.
Ferrari has not released a price point for their new Ferrari FF. I wonder if the insurance on a car that's 40% glass will cost more too.
How do you feel about the glass roof? Is it a trend you foresee catching on?
