Fans who are wondering where Borderlands 2 is headed now that the game is finally here got some answers from Gearbox Software boss Randy Pitchford in a lengthy, new interview with Kotaku. The two-plus hour chat unfolds over a lengthy comment thread on the Gawker blog, revealing new facts about upcoming DLC plans, the possibility of a Borderlands game for PlayStation Vita, and Pitchford's tastes as a gamer.
A lot of ground is covered during the back-and-forth Q&A, but some compelling bits rise above the rest of the details. For one, Pitchford suggests that there's a "real possibility" of eventually seeing a Borderlands release for PS Vita. He also hinted at the possibility of other DLC plans outside the established four campaign add-ons that will all be released by June 2013. Possibly even additional characters beyond the Mechromancer, which arrives on October 16, 2012.
It's a fun and lively conversation, and well worth checking out if you're a fan of the game.
