Sony promised in recent months that PlayStation Plus support would be coming to the PS Vita, and now it's making good. The annual subscription service that was previously exclusive to PlayStation 3 will officially offer subscriber benefits on the handheld starting in November 2012.
Current PS Plus subscribers will be able to take advantage of Vita offers as well and new subscriptions will enjoy benefits on both platforms, a press release confirms. There's no mention yet of what the initial lineup of Instant Game Collection titles will be, but you'll be able to sign up with either a three-month commitment ($17.99) or a full year subscription ($49.99).
