LittleBigPlanet Vita

LittleBigPlanet fans get a little treat this week, with Sony officially lifting the September 25, 2012 street date on United Front Games' LittleBigPlanet Vita and allowing retailers to start selling the game as soon as they have it in stock, a PlayStation Blog post confirms. So even though the game wasn't supposed to be out until next week, you can buy it right now.

There's a tiny catch though: since the release is coming a week earlier than anyone had originally prepared for, the game's online functionality isn't quite ready for primetime yet. According to Sony, the servers will go live starting tomorrow, September 18, 2012. It's not clear exactly which stores are selling the game early, so you might want to call ahead before you head out to pick up a copy for yourself.
