Nintendo revealed more details about Nintendo Land, New Super Mario Bros. Wii U and Lego City Undercover at a recent Wii U press event. Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros. U are both Nintendo Wii U launch titles, and will come out on November 18, 2012 when the Wii U releases.
Nintendo Land is packed with 12 mini-games for you and your friends to play that make great use of the console's new technology. At the event, Metroid Blast was shown off, a Metroid mini-game featuring Samus where she has to charge up, dodge, and shoot waves of monsters. Other modes include ground vs. air mode and ground only multiplayer free-for-all mode.
Additionally, Nintendo showed off a new mode, Boost Rush Mode, for New Super Mario Bros. U that will require, "serious skill and coordination." Boost Rush will time you and push the screen along as you try to collect coins and dodge obstacles. There are also objective challenges, like completing a level without touching the ground, or completing a level within a time limit.
Nintendo also gave us a few details on Lego City Undercover. The open world LEGO game will have you tracking down criminal mastermind Rex Fury.
