We got a chance to interview Ty Roberts, Producer on Popcap's Plants vs. Zombies Pinball at PAX Prime 2012 to learn about how the team at Zen Studios were able to smash Plants vs. Zombies into a pinball game.
"Plants Vs. Zombies is full of iconic characters, and it was definitely a challenge to get them over into something as rigid and hard as a pinball machine," Roberts said."My big edict when we were making this pinball was we have to make sure it can't really be made into an actual pinball machine... We have a nice organic feel to everything."

Plants vs. Zombies Pinball is now available for download in Zen Pinball 3D on PlayStation Network for $2.99, with Cross Buy entitlement on PS3 and PS Vita, and on Xbox Live Arcade for 240 MSP.
