The Steam community has spoken and chosen the first ten games to be released through Valve's Steam Greenlight program. The list mixes finished games like Cry of Fear and No More Room in Hell and games in development like Project Zomboid and Towns. According to Valve, the games will be available "soon."
Greenlight allows developers and publishers to post information and media about their game in an effort to convince Community members that their game should be released on Steam. The Steam community votes on which games they'd like to see distributed through Steam, and then, they are. It's like a giant gaming reality show, without the slap-fights.
"The Steam community rallied around these titles and made them the clear choice for the first set of titles to launch out of Greenlight," said Anna Sweet of Valve. "Since launch, hundreds of titles have been submitted, with more coming in every day. We expect to be announcing more titles coming to Steam via Greenlight soon."
