Borderlands 2 Live Action Commercial Helps Kick Off The NFL Season

Posted September 10, 2012 - By Adam Rosenberg

You might have caught this yesterday if you tuned in for the NFL Sunday kickoff of the 2012/2013 season: Gearbox Software and 2K Games released an awesome live-action trailer for Borderlands 2, which hits stores on September 18, 2012. We're told that a more official version of the trailer will be hitting the Interwebs later, but this bootleg of it posted at All Games Beta is the best version I've found yet.

The new trailer is yet another example of the great marketing campaign that 2K has put behind the upcoming looter shooter, following on the heels of some killer gameplay trailers, an 8-bit demake, and most recently, a skill calculator for the game's four characters. Also awesome to hear The Heavy's "What Makes A Good Man?" playing behind the action, a talented band that has featured into a number of big games/game trailers over the past few years.
