Guardians of Middle-Earth (GoME) is the new console multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) experience featuring characters from the Lord of the Rings universe. We got the chance to play with one of the game's recently unveiled characters, Hildifons, at PAX Prime and came away with some impressions. Here's a snippet:
"One of his moves created a flame wall that slowed and dealt damage to anyone that passed through it, while another made a flame pillar shoot out of an area for a few seconds. My favorite move of his was his ultimate ability, which I liked to call the Hildi-bomb. The Hildi-bomb allowed Hildifons to create a bomb out of a barrel, and if anything touched it, it would explode for massive damage. Laying Hildi-bombs in bushes or just running up to people with one was tons of fun. He was by far my favorite guardian to play as, and with all of his firepower I was able to carry my team to victory in the second and final match of our demo."
