As we learned yesterday, Amazon has rekindled the Kindle Fire by introducing a new, Kindle HD family of tablets. The idea, of course, is to provide a versatile, powerful tablet at a reasonable price.

"Today we introduced Fire HD," Marine told us. "We are really entering the high-end tablet market here. This is extremely advanced hardware. You will not find better hardware or a better tablet out there," he added.
