The only question I have as I look at Ubisoft's newly announced downloadable game Thunder Wolves is "Why the heck isn't this called Airwolf: The Video Game???" Thunder Wolves puts you in the cockpits of eight different attack choppers as you take on a variety of recon, support, and attack missions for the titular for-hire combat force. You can even bring a friend along for co-op play, with one person piloting and the other shooting giant volleys of rockets and high-caliber ammunition.
The trailer up top paints a good picture, I think. Arcade-style shoot 'em up action. Nothing too flashy, but flash isn't always required for a fun downloadable game. Ubisoft is planning to release Airwolf: The Vid-- err... Thunder Wolves in early 2013 for PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and PC platforms.
