Great news this morning for fans of Edmund McMillen's work: he's planning to bring a remake of his charming roguelike, The Binding of Isaac, to PC/consoles as well as mobile platforms. The remake will consist of the original game, its Wrath of the Lamb expansion, and even more beyond that, according to McMillen.
All of this info came out when the game's developer took to Formspring to answer fan questions about his plans (via Destructoid). McMillen mentioned that the console versions aren't fully confirmed yet, but that the goal is to release Isaac on "ALL OF THEM." He also adds that the console release would feature "a TON of new modes, bosses, items, playable characters, co-op and a million other things we couldnt do in the Flash version."
