We already knew that DICE was planning to release the Armored Kill DLC for Battlefield 3 in September 2012, but now we have some actual release dates to look forward to. PlayStation 3 users who subscribe to the Battlefield 3 Premium service will be the first with access, starting on September 4. Xbox 360/PC-using Premium subscribers can download the DLC one week later, starting on September 11.
Non-Premium subscribers will be able to nab the new content for PS3 starting on September 18 and for Xbox 360/PC on September 25. Expect it to carry the same $15 / 1,200 MS Point price tag that the previously released Close Quarters DLC did. Armored Kill is aimed at delivering more vehicle-focused gameplay in Battlefield 3's multiplayer, with a new, tank-centric mode, a range of additional land- and air-based rides (plus unlocks), and four all-new maps.
Be sure to check out our Battlefield 3 Armored Kill DLC preview if you'd like to dig a little deeper.
