
The Uncharted movie's development hell continues. Neil Burger, who was previously announced as the director and writer of the script, is no longer on the project. He has been replaced as a writer by Marianne and Cormac Wibberley. Those siblings wrote the National Treasure movies as well as Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
Charles Roven and Alex Gartner are producing for Atlas, while Avi and Ari Arad will produce through their Arad Prods. banner.
Like all video game-to-movie adaptations, I hope this doesn't ever get finished. It probably won't be as good as the game, based on my careful analysis of every single movie based on a game ever. Let's just let games stay in the game space and movies in the movie space. Ok?
