Metal Gear creator and overall gaming god, Hideo Kojima, has tweeted some intriguing words about Silent Hill. According to Kojima, he finds the idea of a Silent Hill style game made on the Fox engine to be "enviously attractive."
Here's the entire tweet:
"Silent Hill" is in closed room setting and doesn't require full action so that we can focus on the graphic quality. Enemy doesn't have to be a lot or move fast. It only requires scariness by graphics and presentation. As being a creator making action game in open world, such game is very enviously attractive. Wish someone could create this on FOX engine.
As a fan of both Kojima and Silent Hill, I applaud the very idea of this combination.
Sure, I know it's probably not ever going to happen, but can you imagine the game that would result in Kojima taking over the Silent Hill franchise? I mean, it's mind-blowing. And if any series could use a good kick, it's Silent Hill.
