The Nintendo 3DS sequel Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate now won't be hitting stores until 2013. Konami had originally revealed the MercurySteam-developed game as a fall 2012 title, but the publisher has now confirmed to Game Informer that it won't be coming until next year. No reason is given for the change in plans.
Mirror of Fate looks to be breaking away from the more recent Castlevania DS games, embracing the same style of 3D presentation that highlighted the console-based Lords of Shadow, only for a 2D game.
