Capcom celebrates Mega Man's 25th anniversary this year, and the party is coming to iOS in the form of a social RPG called Rockman Xover (read: Rockman Crossover). The release is only confirmed for a fall 2012 release in Japan right now, but Mega Man is a pretty popular fellow here in the United States. (NOTE: Rockman is what Mega Man is called in Japan)
The question is: do you really WANT to play an iOS-exclusive social RPG starring Mega Man? A description on the fansite Rockman Corner (via Destructoid) reveals that Rockman Xover will bring in various heroes and villains from across the history of the series. Players will build a Mega Man of their very own as they take on Dr. Wily, Sigma, and other villains in an effort to free the rest of the Mega Men from some kind of space-time rift.
Or something. In short: Rockman Xover lets you make your own Mega Man and then send him into battle. The game apparently also features some sort of "AutoPlay" feature, though how exactly that works isn't revealed.
