Mass Effect 3

The wait for more Mass Effect 3 is almost over: BioWare confirms in a new blog post that the game's campaign-focused Leviathan DLC will be arriving on August 28, 2012 for all platforms. PlayStation 3 users in Europe will have to wait an extra day for Leviathan's August 29 release; there's no reason given for the delay. At least it's brief though!

Leviathan amounts to the first true campaign-based expansion for Mass Effect 3. There's an argument that the finale-expanding Extended Cut DLC was the actual first, but it gets a pass from me since that free download amounted to nothing more than cutscenes and new dialogue. Leviathan gives you actual mission content tucked into the mid-game, with Shepard and company speeding off to investigate yet another Reaper threat.
