EA will be releasing a "Premium Edition" version of Battlefield 3 on September 11, 2012, as DICE's Patrick Bach confirmed during the publisher's Gamescom 2012 press conference. The $69.99 version of the game is meant to draw in new players, including both a copy of Battlefield 3 and a subscription to the game's Premium DLC content delivery service.
Also included in the box is a Multiplayer Head-Start Kit, which immediately unlocks 15 different weapons, gadgets, and vehicle upgrades to give new players an online boost. Is that enough to get you on the Battlefield? Current players: how do you feel knowing that newcomers will be able to get that head-start on unlocks?
