Looks like there's a new console in town. After six weeks of kick-starting, Ouya has been fully funded. Overly funded, honestly. 63, 416 people contributed to the open-source, Android-powered console, and $8,596,475 was raised for the development and manufacture of the Ouya. The company had only asked for $950,000, so I'm expecting the finished product to be eight times as cool as was planned.
The Ouya is planned for release in March.
