Like most everyone else who has seen or read about it, the currently Kickstarter'd Oculus Rift VR headset has Minecraft creator Notch pretty dang excited. He said as much on Twitter, adding that he plans to make his upcoming game 0x10c compatible with the headset as long as he can get it to play nice with Java, the programming language that the game will be built on, much like Minecraft before it.
Speaking of Mojang's blocky world-building sensation, Notch would also like to see Oculus Rift compatability added to Minecraft. He's no longer running the show on his baby, of course, but he promised to suggest the feature addition to current game director Jens "Jeb" Bergensten if he likes the tech.
If you haven't been wowed yet by the Oculus Rift, watch as I flail around with it while playing Doom 3 BFG Edition at E3 2012 under John Carmack's direction.
