Amazon is officially in the game making business thanks to their first social game, Living Classics, and their first game studio, Amazon Game Studios. The team hopes to create "innovative, fun and well-crafted games."
Living Classics stars a family of foxes, adorable ones, that have wandered into living illustrations from their favorite books like Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, and King Arthur. No word on whether or not they'll wander into any my favorite books, like A Dance With Dragons or The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Both would make excellent levels.

When I first read the press release about Living Classics, I imagined it would be a game utilizing what Amazon already built. Perhaps it would be playable from inside Amazon.com. However, it sounds like this game is independent from the retailer's site.
